Eunice DeLaHoz (Castillo), 54, of Central Falls, RI, peacefully passed away on August 4, 2020. She was born on January 23, 1966 in Barranquilla, Colombia.
She was the beloved daughter of Julio Castillo and Evelia Castillo Galvan.

Eunice was the loving mother of her two sons she leaves behind, Edgardo Enrique DeLaHoz and Derek Enrique DeLaHoz both of Central Falls, RI. She is survived by her two brothers and their wives, Julio C Castillo and Luz Stella Castillo of Central Falls, RI and Alex A Castillo and Cecibel Castillo of Providence, RI and her sister, Monica Castillo of Central Falls, RI.
Eunice was also the most amazing and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, whom she shared many laughs with, Tiffany of Dorchester, MA, Julio Jr. of Central Falls, RI, Nathalia of Pawtucket, RI, Orlando, Victoria and Olivia of Providence, RI and Isabella of Central Falls, RI. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friends.

Eunice lived her life always wanting to serve others and always being an advocate for what’s right, which brought her to serve a two-term seat as City Councilwoman for Central Falls, RI from 2008 to 2012. She worked in Property Management for many years. She was a true Patriots fan, even without the Goat. She loved dancing, she loved life, and most of all, she loved her family.
